Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)

Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a technique designed to address painful and persistent effects of known traumatic incidents and /or themes in a person’s life.  These themes can consist of unwanted feelings, sensations, attitudes and pains.  They can be tied into a number of specific incidents.  These past traumas can retain energetic charges and block the well functioning of the person because they have never been fully confronted.  Emotional pain, like its physical counterpart, tell us that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.  TIR is simply a method designed to enable people to examine such traumas in a systematic and complete way. (TIRW manual, 2009).

Adela is presently enrolled in the TIR internship program and is currently working with people who have undergone mild to severe trauma.  The results so far have been encouraging.
